That's how I'd count it, too. Or rather, not count it. Or something.

That one could go either way, I guess. I'd count it as five, though.

This is from the LBNA Faqs.

"Further, a letterbox can only count as Found when the letterboxer
obtains a stamp image from any stamp associated with that box, and
their personal stamp image has been imprinted (or attempted) in the
logbook or other part of the box."

In other words, no log = no F

I must respectfully disagree (yes, I realize this is the Honor System
and everybody plays by the Counting Rules they feel comfortable with)
it says, as you quote:

has been imprinted (or attempted) in the logbook.

I think if you follow the clues, find the box, and are ready and willing
to stamp if the logbook exists, then that counts as attempted, and
thus fulfills the requirement. But hey, what do I know? My handle is
dedicated to a moose-of-less-than-stellar-intelligence!

See, that's what I have been going by so far. The kicker is that
for this particular "series", the first 7 boxes are stamps only and
the 8th box is a logbook only.

I have basically been going by the logbook rule - if I stamped in,
it's a find. So in this case, I've been counting the series as 1
find.

I know that it really doesn't matter anyway - no one cares how many
finds I have but me!

I say contact the placer. Did THEY count 1 - 7 - 8 P's. What they
count you get. In the final accounting the assets must equal the
liabilities. But then whose auditing %^)
